Ile Verte is just east of St Ollaff Island. Perfect for a day trip!
Here’s what you’ll be doing during the day:
Sailing Brunch
The day begins with a chef-prepared brunch on our 40′ catamaran during the crossing to Ile Verte.
Rainbow Marsh
Then we take you on a hiking tour of the thousand colors of rainbow marsh – various mineral deposits in the marshes create ponds of vibrant colors. There’s nothing else like it in the world.
St Adele
We follow Rainbow Marsh with a stroll through historic old St Adele Town.
St Adele’s Festival Square is where we’ll spend most of our time.
We’ll grab food from street vendors and enjoy folk music at the square.
Choice of afternoon activities
For the last part of the day, our tour guides will split up and you can choose what to do: enjoy the Island Adventure Ropes Course, sunbathe at Marauder’s Bay, or shop in Francisque Town.
Island Adventure Ropes Course
Kids and teenagers will love running through the jungle, cross the suspended bridges, climb, crawl, and dash through this larger-than-life ropes course and adventure park. Entry to the park is free with a donation to the Park Service, but injuries are not covered by the local health system, so bring your travel insurance documents with you.
Marauder’s bay
This bay is protected by a reef teeming with wildlife. Snorkel, watch the birds dive for fish, or just enjoy the sun on this remote beach.
Francisque Town
Francisque town is picturesque. Its festival square is lined with local craft vendors, merchants, musicians, and restaurants. The town also has a dance culture and it’s not uncommon to see a dozen or more couples dance in the square, day or night.
